Role Overview

As a Solution Architect, you will partner with clients, business stakeholders, and engineering teams to design scalable, secure, and maintainable enterprise solutions. You will play a key role throughout the solution lifecycle—from solution discovery and architecture design to technical governance and delivery—ensuring solutions align with business objectives while following architectural best practices.

This is a client-facing consulting role requiring strong communication skills, technical leadership, and the ability to balance business needs with technology decisions.

Key Responsibilities

Solution Architecture

• Design end-to-end solution architecture for enterprise applications and digital transformation initiatives.
• Define architecture across application, integration, data, infrastructure, and security domains.
• Translate business requirements into scalable, practical, and maintainable technical solutions.
• Evaluate technology options and recommend architecture approaches based on business goals, technical constraints, and long-term scalability.

Client Consulting & Solution Discovery

• Facilitate technical discovery workshops with business and technical stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, Product Owners, and Project Managers to clarify requirements and define solution scope.
• Present architecture proposals, technical recommendations, and trade-offs to clients and project stakeholders.
• Support pre-sales activities by providing solution design, technical estimations and architecture recommendations when required.

Technical Leadership

• Lead technical design discussions and produce architecture documentation, diagrams, and technical specifications.
• Provide architectural guidance throughout implementation to ensure compliance with approved designs.
• Review solution implementation to ensure quality, scalability, security, performance, and maintainability.
• Mentor development teams and Technical Leads on architecture best practices and design principles.

Architecture Governance

• Identify technical risks, system dependencies, and implementation challenges early in the project lifecycle.
• Recommend mitigation strategies and ensure alignment with enterprise architecture standards.
• Drive architecture reviews and promote engineering best practices across delivery teams.
• Continuously evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements where appropriate.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

Experience

• 8+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 3 years in a Solution Architect or equivalent architecture leadership role.
• Proven experience designing enterprise-scale applications and distributed systems.
• Experience working in software consulting, system integration, IT services, or digital transformation projects is highly preferred.
• Experience working directly with enterprise clients and cross-functional stakeholders.

Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of software architecture principles and design patterns.
• Experience designing cloud-native solutions on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Strong understanding of:

  • Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) is preferred.

• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, data integration, and enterprise data architecture.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience facilitating workshops, architecture reviews, and technical decision- making sessions.
• Ability to influence technical direction across multiple teams.

Nice to Have

• Experience in one or more industries such as Banking, Government, Healthcare, Retail, Logistics, Manufacturing, or Technology.
• Knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks.
• Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
