Key Requirements

Experience & Expertise

5–7 years of progressive UX/UI design experience, with at least 3 years in a senior or lead capacity
Proven track record of leading design initiatives across multiple projects simultaneously
Demonstrated experience working with senior stakeholders and C-level executives
Experience in government, enterprise, or large-scale organizational environments is highly preferred
Strong portfolio demonstrating product thinking, strategic leadership, design process, stakeholder management, and measurable business impact

Technical Skills

Strong experience with design research methodologies and usability testing tools
Expert proficiency in modern design tools and platforms
Strong understanding of responsive design principles, design systems, and component libraries
Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML/CSS) and ability to collaborate effectively with developers
Ability to transform business and client requirements into clear user flows, wireframes, and intuitive design solutions
Strong understanding of UX best practices, accessibility standards, and modern product design workflows

Client & Stakeholder Management (Lead)

Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across clients, product teams, developers, and business stakeholders
Excellent active listening and empathy skills to deeply understand client pain points, business goals, and end-user needs
Strong design communication and pitching capabilities, with confidence in presenting concepts, rationale, and solutions to stakeholders at all organizational levels
Ability to translate complex business requirements into accurate wireframes, user journeys, user flows, and scalable UI/UX solutions
Experience facilitating workshops, requirement discovery sessions, design critiques, and collaborative ideation activities

AI & Design Trends

Proficiency in AI-powered design tools and emerging technologies that enhance UI/UX workflows
Strong awareness of global UI/UX trends, digital product innovations, and evolving user behaviors
Ability to leverage AI and automation tools to optimize design speed, ideation, prototyping, user research, and overall workflow efficiency
Passion for continuous learning and experimentation with modern design methodologies and tools

Leadership & Team Management (Lead)

Strong leadership capabilities with experience mentoring, coaching, and developing UI/UX designers
Ability to establish and maintain high standards for design quality, usability, and visual consistency
Experience conducting design reviews, providing constructive feedback, and ensuring overall product excellence
Effective task delegation and project coordination skills with the ability to manage priorities across multiple initiatives
Ability to inspire teams and help shape a strong, collaborative, and innovative design culture
Strategic mindset with the ability to align user-centered design solutions with business objectives and product vision
